His love for his girls, Willow and Iva, was unmeasurable. Gerald was very proud of his family and the Fowler name. Gerald was very proud to have Dustin by his side. Gerald’s nephew, Dustin Fowler, began working with him, learning to saw timbers, and designing blueprints for kits. In 2010 Gerald expanded the business with Timber Frame Solutions, manufacturing timber frame kits. Gerald began sawyering logs at the age of 29, building Timber Valley Building Products, a local lumber yard. Upon graduation, he and his father traveled down to Texas to purchase a new endeavor, the sawmill. Gerald grew up working in the family business milking cows and hauling logs.
